According to the General Port Regulation (G.C.L.) no. 38 regulating the chartering of motor boats and small speedboats:
Every boat that is rented must have a license to operate boats (blue and not green that the amateurs carry) and it must say that it is professional.
The chartered vessel’s license must specifically mention its destination by writing in red ink the phrase “CHARTERED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF GENERAL PORT REGULATION No. 38”.
violators are punished with a fine of up to forty thousand (40.0000 the lessor must deliver with the lease to each lessee:
(a) The original license to operate ships and leased vessel
(b) Copy of the insurance policy
(c) Certified copy of rental permit
(d) Copies of the General Port Regulations (G.C.L.) no. 20, 23 which regulate the movement and circulation of motorized boats and speedboats as well as the G-KL. no. 38.
While we strive to make your experience unforgettable, weather conditions can sometimes alter our plans.
Because your safety is our top priority, if the weather isn’t suitable for boating, we will reschedule your reservation for another day.
This said, keep in mind that the charter and sailing of the vessel takes place normally, when the wind intensity at the pick-up point does not exceed 4 Beaufort and the port authorities allow it.
So, in case of adverse weather conditions, which prohibit sailing on the day of the start of the rental, the amount of the guarantee is returned to you and you can postpone the rental for another day if you wish and there is availability.
