There is a spacious free parking area in Almyrida, located right next to the harbor. It is just a 2-minute walk to our pier.

We are located at the Almyrida Harbor (on the right side of the beach). Look for the Antonis Boat sign – our team will be there waiting for you!

Rental, Safety & Documentation

Important information about operating our vessels.

Please bring a valid photo ID or passport. If renting a boat over 30 HP, you must show an original speedboat operator’s license recognized by Greek authorities. No license is required for boats under 30 HP.

Yes! Before departure, we provide a mini-seminar on boat systems, electronics, emergency gear, and how to drop the anchor safely.

No. Only the renter named in the contract may operate the vessel. Allowing others to steer breaches the agreement and voids insurance.
All boats feature GPS tracking. We are in constant communication and have a support boat ready to assist you immediately.

For Self-Drive Rentals, fuel is charged extra based on consumption. For Organized Tours, fuel is included in the price.

Comprehensive hull and third-party insurance is included. Please note that personal property is not insured; we recommend using dry bags for valuables.

If winds exceed Force 4 Beaufort or conditions are unsafe, departure must be delayed for your safety. If the trip is cancelled due to weather, we reschedule or provide a full refund.

Absolutely! A licensed captain can be provided for an additional fee.

Both are possible, but only with prior approval from us.

Sunscreen, a hat, towels, and a fully charged mobile phone. We provide the cooler box.

Moderate consumption is acceptable. The renter is responsible for ensuring no alcohol abuse or illegal substances are brought on board.

No. Returning the boat before the agreed time does not entitle the renter to a refund or credit.

All towage expenses are yours, plus a fee of €600 per day from the time of the incident until repairs are completed and the boat is charter-ready.

You are liable for repair costs and a downtime charge of €250 (small boats) or €600 (large boats) per calendar day until the boat is fully restored. Missing safety items are billed at their replacement value.

You must cover the cost of re-issuing the documents and pay €250 (small boats) or €600 (large boats) per day for every day the vessel is immobilized while new papers are prepared.

Your contract specifies exact start and end times. The boat must be returned no later than the termination time and in the same condition in which it was received.

No. Returning the boat before the agreed end time does not entitle you to any refund or credit.

Yes. All passengers must wear life jackets, and the skipper must keep the engine “quick-stop” (kill cord) key on their wrist while underway.

All administrative penalties (speeding, restricted areas, etc.) are the sole responsibility of the renter.

No. The owner is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings. We recommend separate travel insurance and keeping valuables in dry bags.

The boat carries all equipment required by Greek law (life jackets, flares, fire extinguishers, etc.). You will confirm its receipt and condition during the hand-over.

Yes. At check-in, we explain the boat’s systems, electronics, and emergency gear.

Changes or extensions are valid only when agreed upon in writing and signed by both parties; otherwise, the original terms apply.

Your data is stored and processed solely to execute the contract, in compliance with the ANTONIS BOATS privacy policy.

Any dispute arising from the charter is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of CHANIA.

The contract does not set a fixed cancellation scale. Contact us promptly; any refund depends on whether the boat can be re-chartered for the same dates.

Towing is allowed only if your license covers it, sea conditions are suitable, and the equipment is declared in advance so the insurance can be endorsed.

Yes! Small boats are available for day trips to nearby beaches or islands. They are ideal for couples or small groups seeking a private, affordable excursion.
A private charter gives you exclusive use of a boat and crew, enabling customized routes and onboard service—perfect for events or tailored cruising.
For day trips, a 7–10m RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) or a small motor cruiser is ideal. Larger groups seeking comfort may prefer a sailing catamaran.

Late April to mid-June and September are the “sweet spots,” offering warm seas and fewer crowds. July and August are peak season, while early April and October remain pleasant but cooler.
